Deposit & Payment
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve the commission and begin work. The remaining balance is due when the artwork is completed and before it is shipped or picked up.

Artwork will not be shipped or released until the balance has been paid in full.
​
If the client cancels after work has begun, the deposit will be retained to compensate for time, materials, and preparation already invested in the commission.
Reference Photographs & Materials
The client represents that they either:
​
• own the photographs, logos, badges, insignia, or other reference materials provided for the commission;
or
• have permission to provide those materials to the artist for use in creating the commissioned artwork.

The client is responsible for obtaining any permissions necessary to reproduce protected photographs, logos, trademarks, badges, department insignia, military insignia, or other intellectual property supplied for the commission.

Art by Katie Pucci does not represent that any third-party logo, badge, insignia, seal, or other protected design is available for unrestricted commercial reproduction.
Military & First Responder Insignia
For commissions incorporating department badges, patches, military insignia, logos, seals, or other official designs, the client is responsible for confirming that the requested artwork may lawfully be commissioned and reproduced.

The client understands that the artwork does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, affiliation, or official authorization by any government agency, military branch, police department, fire department, or other organization unless such authorization has been expressly granted.
​
When requested, the client agrees to provide written authorization or other documentation permitting the reproduction of the relevant insignia or design.
Ownership & Copyright
Upon full payment, the client owns the physical original artwork.

Copyright and reproduction rights remain with Art by Katie Pucci unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
​
The client may display the original artwork for personal use but may not reproduce, commercially distribute, resell reproductions of, or otherwise exploit the artwork without written permission from the artist.
Shipping
Local pickup is available when offered.
​
For shipped artwork, the client is responsible for the agreed shipping charge. Artwork will be carefully packaged and, when available and appropriate, insured for its purchase value.

Art by Katie Pucci is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier. If artwork arrives damaged, the client should retain all packaging materials and notify the artist promptly so that a claim can be evaluated.
